The complete course is an audio-based learning product containing 90 lessons divided into three different levels. It is advisable to go through one lesson each day. You can listen to each lesson several times for even faster learning. The 30-minute long lessons are perfect for retention and best for learners’ concentration. The lessons come in CDs with an instructional manual. You can play the lessons at home or in your car, you can even download it to your iPod or mp3 player. For visual style learners, there are transcripts of the lessons which you can use as you listen.
The program’s Level 1 teaches you how to establish rapport with other Spanish speakers. You are taught to participate in simple and direct Spanish conversations about usual topics. Level 2 teaches you to combine more words and phrases to come up with more complex sentences. Level 3 teaches you to communicate with ease and confidence. You will be able to narrate and describe using different terms and tenses. In addition to the 90 lessons, a Spanish Plus program has been designed for Spanish language practice.
In this program’s lessons, the learner is required to listen and actively participate in thinking and speaking carefully following the tutor’s instructions. A native speaker then speaks phrases in both the Spanish and English language. Explanations follow after the phrases or words. At different points of the lesson, the learner is prompted to repeat a phrase after the speaker. New phrases are then introduced and explained. After several repetitions, the learner is asked to repeat previous phrases along with using other vocabulary from the newly learned phrases. More new phrases are presented while old phrases are recalled. This efficient system is what makes the learning of Spanish simple and fast.
