spanish language courses
Learning Spanish becomes an exciting pursuit when you follow a program that gives you the best results. Various Spanish Language Courses with different styles and methods are offered for consumers today.
One of the most popular Spanish Learning Software available is Rocket Spanish. It’s not very difficult to understand why. This course offers so much to the learner. Rocket Spanish is an interactive audio course which has been designed to help a learner speak useful conversational Spanish. The comprehensive and well-planned lessons aid beginners to reach fluency. The approach used avoids boring repetition and memorization. Intermediate and advanced level learners will find Rocket Spanish helpful to them as well. Aside from the 33 Interactive Audio Course lessons, there are 31 Language and Culture lessons which many find essential in the learning of Spanish. The Mega software learning games help to increase your Spanish vocabulary, improve your pronunciation and listening skill, and develop your grammar. In addition, Rocket Spanish learners, get a lifetime access to the Learning Lounge where you can practice your Spanish with a fellow learner or get help from a native Spanish speaker.
There are a couple of things to consider with this course. Unlike a few Spanish courses, there is no speech activation software included in Rocket Spanish and the downloadable version is much cheaper than the CD version. Other than these, Rocket Spanish truly brings great results.
Another which stands out among the courses is Rosetta Stone Spanish. The Spanish Lessons use the Dynamic Immersion strategy. Spanish words and concepts are presented to you using a series of pictures with the associated audio and text. Rosetta Spanish develops your speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills. An interesting feature with Rosetta Stone is that you can follow the software’s guided tour or you can choose exercises you wish to learn and study. You can work on your weak areas and improve them. Speech Recognition assists in your pronunciation. There are available CDs which you can listen to while travelling or while at home, turning that extra time for learning.
Rosetta Stone is very helpful to many people. The only problem is the cost. Compared to other courses, Rosetta Stone can be quite expensive.
The Fluenz Spanish Course has been designed for adult learners. An onscreen tutor guides the learners through extensive video learning sessions that are realistic Spanish language contexts. What separates Fluenz Spanish from other courses is the in-depth explanations given in every lesson. By understanding the concepts you become better at developing intelligent Spanish sentences. The comprehensive lessons are in 5 DVDs but there are also 5 audio CDs available for additional learning. Besides being user-friendly, the program is effective for both auditory and visual style learners.
The downside to this Spanish course is that there is little verb conjugation or real conversation in the lessons and the voice in the audio lessons can be somewhat unclear. But, all in all, the lessons will effectively help you learn the language.
These courses are all excellent alternatives. Preferably, though, Rocket Spanish, with its complete and creative lessons, useful games, simple and easy instructions, and affordability is the best program for learning to speak Spanish.
